Understanding Reality
The internet is a great place to learn. But it is also a great place to get confused. Or to learn incorrect things. If you’re like me, a great deal of content you might see in places like YouTube, Instagram, and other content sites (that will not be named), might actually just be confusing or even demoralizing. What do you mean, tesseract? That looks like two cube wireframes connected with lines? If it’s supposed to be a fourth-dimensional object, why can I see it in your YouTube video?
The primary reason many concepts about reality can be incredibly confusing for people to understand is simply because they are incorrect, and you are correct to be confused, as anyone would be when presented with incorrect information being presented incorrectly as correct. The common illustration of a “tesseract,” for instance, that people show in their social media content is NOT, in fact, a tesseract because a real tesseract is LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DRAW OR CREATE. The image of two cubes connected at the corners that people incorrectly call a ‘tesseract’ is simply a graphical model of the math that is used to mathematically describe a tesseract, but not actually a tesseract, not even resembling a real tesseract, and content creators, even those who are really smart, don’t actually explain that or understand that it’s just a mathematical model and instead describe it as a tesseract and expect you to be impressed/confused/demoralized that you can’t understand it because of just how smart they are, because they do understand it, but how can that be a tesseract because I can see it with my own eyes? You, the one who is confused, is the one who is actually correct, not them, the one claiming to draw the thing which is literally impossible to draw.
But why is this important for anyone to know and understand? Well, you might have noticed that we live in a Universe, upon a very cool little planet that has oceans, life, weather, volcanism, and other really cool shit. We as humans also only live about 60-80 years of age on average, and most humans have been curious throughout the entirety of our history about why we live on this tiny little planet and what is the purpose and point of life and existence. We are also beset by disease, conflict, loss, and general challenges to our survival which also require understanding of nature and reality in order to devise solutions to those problems. Nearly every person in every developed society uses a cellphone which itself relies on an incredible amount of science and technology to operate, from the precise machining of parts to create the computer chips inside the phone, to understanding electronics and computing in the first place, to maintaining geosynchronous orbit of satellites around the globe that provide data used in mapping, weather, time, etc. No one needs to know how a cellphone works in order to use one, but they would not exist if there were not many, many people who do. Similarly, to find the answers to other important questions such as why we are here and what is the nature of reality similarly requires learning more about the nature of life, existence, and the forces that construct the Universe, because everything in the Universe is dependent on the laws which govern existence, which includes our very selves as well.
You might also see other stupid and ridiculous things about the other dimensions, such as the casual claim that we can’t see them. This is one of the most preposterous claims about science and reality in content creation because the entirety of reality IS MADE OF THOSE DIMENSIONS, and since we literally exist in reality and can see and experience reality we ALREADY EXPERIENCE AND OBSERVE ALL THE DIMENSIONS OF REALITY. To state otherwise is to claim that those dimensions are separate from our reality, which, WHAT? For instance people will talk about hypothetical “fourth dimensional beings” being able to see a tesseract, as if we ourselves are not actually fourth dimensional beings. The fourth dimension is literally required for our reality to exist as we know it, and participates in the laws of physics which construct everything in existence, and by the very existence of the Universe we are thusly also fourth dimensional beings who live and interact in the fourth dimension at all times in our lives, and it is not some abstract, ethereal dimension which is separate from our existence but here and now every bit a part of it as are the third, second, first, fifth, etc.
As I discuss in my book, Under A Libra God, a major problem in science which arises from this kind of misunderstanding is the the particle-wave duality of light. The particle-wave duality is actually incorrect, and is nothing more than a simple observational fallacy—light is actually a two-dimensional, oscillating particle that only appears to be wave-like because of its motion through spacetime, but is not actually a wave, which is why the wave-nature of light ‘collapses’ when light interacts with matter, as whoever heard of a ‘collapsing’ wave? Claiming a wave can simply ‘collapse’ would be the very destruction of energy and complete invalidation of the most fundamental laws of reality in that energy can never be destroyed, it only changes form. An oscillating particle traveling at a vector is nearly indistinguishable from a wave, so this observational error is understandable, but because of this misunderstanding there is lots of science which has erred because it is based on incorrect foundational ideas about how even basic physics works, and people who are married to their philosophy due to sunk-cost fallacy are entrenched in ineffective understanding of how nature actually works which then impairs future progress and research such as the current dilemma in physics lacking a ‘theory of everything.’ Because light is itself a two-dimensional artifact, seeing light and observing its interaction with other aspects of reality, and the fact that light travels through time from one side of the Universe to the other, is the act of observing other dimensions such as the 2nd and 4th directly in our reality, because our reality is constructed of those dimensions, and we experience them at every moment of every day of our lives because it is impossible to separate ourselves from the dimensions which construct the reality of which everything is made.
Throughout history man has devised myth and conjecture to explain and justify existence and purpose, but we each can know that our existence needn’t be justified for the simple fact of it. Reality is the way it is, regardless of our desires, biases, prejudices, or fears, and we must live in harmony with reality if we wish to be effective in our personal lives. If we were asked to balance our budget but had never been taught how to handle our finances we probably would not be very effective at it, would we? The same applies to life choices and how we understand reality, in that when we lack knowledge we act from a place of ineffectiveness and then receive ineffective consequences. We never have control over anything in life, but if our choices and decisions are better informed there is an increased likelihood of being more effective, and thus profits us to acquire that information and use it to inform our decision making. That’s why reading Fuck Portion Control helps people recover from illness, because knowledge leads to empowerment and thus more effective decision making. Under A Libra God is that information for existential learning, and how the Universe truly operates.
